Your premier provider of new and pre-owned mid-sized coaches busses, shuttles, and vans

Mr Davey,

I wanted to thank you for all the hard work you and your team put into our selection and purchase of a new bus for our long term care community here at St. John's Lutheran Ministries. Our commitee members that were involved in the process are as pleased as I am with the outcome of their working with you. From the initial proposals and design, to the numerous revisions and changes at our end, your team was professional, diligent and insightful in their assisting us for the best possible finished product! The bus has been in service now several weeks and is performing beyond expectations! The folks we serve are very grateful to have such a comfortable and functional vehicle for their enjoyment. Thank you all again very much. Our best wishes to you and your company for great success in the future!

OnSpot Automatic Tire Chains

A great option for safety and efficiency for any vehicle operator that regularly deals with snowy and icy road conditions, the Onspot Automatic Tire chain offers the traction of a single set of conventional snow chains at the flip of a switch, without having to stop the vehicle.

An electric switch mounted in the cab provides 12 volts to an air solenoid mounted on the vehicle's frame rail. Compressed air to the solenoid is supplied from either the vehicle's onboard air system or a 12-volt compressed air kit.

When the dashboard switch is activated, the solenoid opens allowing compressed air to enter the air chamber and lower the chain wheel so it contacts the inside of the tire. The friction between the tire and the rubber-covered chain wheel causes the chain wheel to rotate, creating enough centrifugal force to flail the chains out in front of the tire. (The principle of the system is similar to a small generator driven by a bicycle tire to operate a headlight.)

Six lengths of chain spaced at 60-degree intervals on the chain wheel ensure that there are always two (2) chains between the tire and road surface whether you are accelerating, braking or are in a wheel lockup condition. The traction from the chain wheel is obtained in forward OR reverse.

When the dashboard switch is turned off, the solenoid exhausts the air provided to the chain units and return springs in the air chambers bring the chain wheels back to their resting position.
