Mark Stenseth Named President at Davey Coach Sales

Davey Coach Sales, a national bus dealership, announced today that Mark Stenseth has been named President, replacing John Walsh who has resigned to take a new position with an industry manufacturer, Proterra Inc.

“I’m looking forward to continuing the growth that John set in motion,” said Stenseth. “The entire team remains focused on executing that plan with continued emphasis on quality and service that has been the essence of the company’s reputation and a significant reason for the growth we have enjoyed.”

Walsh said, “It has been an enormous privilege to have led Davey during an important period of transformation and growth. I am proud to have worked with remarkable colleagues who are so committed to the company’s vision and success.”

Mark Stenseth’s prior experience included twelve years as CFO with Transwest Inc., a diversified holding company with multiple dealership locations in the United States and Canada, manufacturing operations, and a substantial finance company. He played a crucial role in more than tripling the size of the company during his tenure. Other previous positions were in distribution and manufacturing. Mr. Stenseth is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and is a CPA.
