Davey Coach Attends Hartford Ski Spectacular

Last week Davey Coach attended the Hartford Ski Spectacular Hosted by Disabled Sports USA. This exciting event is the largest winter sports festival for individuals with disabilities in the nation.

Davey Coach was proud to take part in this annual event, and to showcase an MV-1. The Hartford Ski Spectacular was a great opportunity for individuals from the community and nation to join together for a fun and unique experience. Programs and classes were provided in addition to the opportunity to ski at the Beaver Run Resort and Breckenridge Ski Resort.

Many participants and volunteers came from all over the country to take part in this memorable five-day adventure. Everyone was also welcomed to take a look at the MV-1 wrapped in Davey Coach graphics! The MV-1 is a significant vehicle because it is not a conversion, but rather a purpose-built wheelchair accessible vehicle.

The MV-1 is ADA Approved and built in America by American General specifically for individuals with special needs and mobility challenges. With an extra-wide door, a short and extended length ramp that deploys from within the floor of the vehicle, the MV-1 is incredibly accessible and suited for a variety of uses.

Davey Coach is proud to carry the MV-1 and to support the disability community at events such as the Hartford Ski Spectacular. We appreciate the volunteers and dedication of individuals that work to make such events happen, as well as the contributions and courage of the participants. We wish you all a wonderful Christmas and Happy Holidays!
