Tanya Williams Joins Davey Coach as Chief Financial Officer

SEDALIA, COLO. January 16, 2023—Davey Coach Sales, LLC, a leading dealer of new and used mid-sized shuttle bus and specialty transportation vehicles for over 30 years, announced today the appointment of Tanya Williams, MBA, CPA as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective November 28, 2022. The announcement comes at a time of considerable growth and talent acquisition for the company, which has locations in Denver, Indiana, and California.

Williams, former Vice President of Accounting and Finance at Black Forest Engineering, brings to the new role more than 35 years of experience within the financial field delivering impactful results to both investors and stakeholders. “Tanya joins our team as the new CFO, adding welcome experience as both an entrepreneur as well as an educator,” commented Davey Coach President Josh Davey. “With some of the other organizational growth and change we’ve had recently, we are blessed and excited to have someone with her background on our team at this timeline in the company’s story.”

In addition to an entrepreneurial mindset, Williams also offers a diversity of career experience as a key asset. “I have spent my entire career purposefully not focusing on any one industry, so when I think about what excites me the most about this new position, it is learning the industry and applying best-in-class practices from adjacent industries to the growth potential within this company,” said Williams.

Davey Coach is Williams’ second portfolio company within Progress Equity Partners to date, having previously served as CFO, and later Chief Executive Officer, at Diversified Machine Systems, LLC during her nearly nine-year tenure.
